Austin Pattillo's Blog | How-To Fix A Small Dent on Your Vehicle

Accidents happen. We all know this. Many of us, have had a fender bender at one point in our lives. But if your time is now, it is unfortunate and you are probably freaking out. Well, I am here to help you figure a solution to this problem.

If you currently have a small dent in your vehicle you can save yourself a lot of hassle and money by simply using a plunger. Yes, a plunger. Like the one in your bathroom. Be sure it is a cup plunger and not a flange one.

Basically, you want to use a sink plunger and not a toilet plunger. Yes, this makes a difference. Simply add water to the dent and to the plunger and then plunge the dent until it pops out.

Now, of course, this will not work on every dent, but worth a try prior to spending more money than you may have on hand. This method works best on small dents.

If it is a severe dent, it will need to be scheduled for a service appointment. But only do this once you have everything worked out with the insurance company.
